These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MillBook ("the app," "we," "our," or "us"), an offline ledger for rice mills that helps you record paddy intake, production, stock, sales, and payments. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use MillBook on devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and to the Apple App Store or Google Play store terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
MillBook stores the records you enter — paddy intake, production, stock, sales, payments, and the product or customer names you add — locally on your device. You own your data, and you are responsible for it, including keeping your own backups where appropriate.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting a record or uninstalling the app removes that data. We do not hold a server-side copy, so we cannot recover data you have deleted. The app is a record-keeping tool; you are responsible for the accuracy of the figures you enter and for any business or tax decisions you make based on them.
MillBook is free to use for recording your mill activity. MillBook Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks data export (CSV), the full PDF business report, and ongoing updates.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in App Store → your profile → Subscriptions.
Refund requests are handled by Apple (or Google, where applicable) according to their respective policies. We cannot directly issue refunds for store purchases.
You agree not to:
MillBook uses Apple's App Store and the subscription provider RevenueCat to process and validate in-app purchases. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, which are referenced in our Privacy Policy.
The MillBook name, logo, app design, code, copy, and all original assets are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or license to our trademarks or branding.
You may stop using the app at any time and remove all local data by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that harms us or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times, or that the figures and reports it produces are free of errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or in connection with your use of the app. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
