Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to use MillBook?: No. MillBook works completely offline and does not require sign-up. Your records are stored locally on your device.
How do I add a production record?: Open the Add tab, enter the paddy input and rice output (plus variety, shift, or operator if you wish), and save. The record is added to your ledger and your stock updates automatically.
How is my stock calculated?: Stock is derived from your records rather than stored separately — paddy stock is intake minus what you have processed, and product stock (rice, bran, husk, broken rice) is production minus sales. This keeps your stock figures consistent even after you edit or delete a record.
How do I record a sale and track payments?: Use the Sales Log tab to record a sale and mark it as paid, pending, or partial. The dashboard and reports show who has paid and who still has a pending balance.
Where is my data stored?: All of your records are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server. If you uninstall the app, your data is removed with it, so keep this in mind before deleting the app.
Does MillBook work without internet?: Yes. MillBook is designed to work fully offline — no connection is needed to add records, view stock, or read reports.
