MillBook ("we," "our," or "the app") is an offline ledger for rice mill owners and operators. We built MillBook to be private by default: it works without an account and keeps your records on your own device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how.
The information you enter into MillBook is stored locally on your device. This includes:
This data stays on your device and is under your control. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it, unless you have exported or backed it up yourself.
MillBook does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. In its standard configuration, the app does not transmit your mill records to us or to any server.
If anonymous usage analytics are enabled in a future version of the app, they would be limited to aggregate, non-identifying information (such as app version, device type, and which screens are used) to help us improve MillBook. Any analytics would be processed by standard providers such as Apple, Google, or Firebase under their own privacy policies, and would not include the contents of your mill records.
If MillBook offers optional paid features (in-app purchases), payments are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment method, card number, or billing address. Purchase status may be validated through the store and a subscription provider (such as RevenueCat) under their own privacy policies.
We do not collect personal data unless optional analytics or in-app purchase tools are enabled. MillBook does not include advertising SDKs, does not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your information.
MillBook is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your records are stored on your own device, their security depends largely on your device's own protections, such as your passcode, biometrics, and device encryption. Any data processed by optional third-party services is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable safeguards.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
